Developed closed-loop deep-brain stimulators (DBS) for psychiatric disorders, synced cameras for 3D pose estimation to monitor behavior, used AI to uncover underlying neural patterns, processed visual neural and retinal data, and optimized the usability of wearable rehabilitation systems with multimodal sensing. I also have a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington.

I believe that having a holistic view of my work—spanning hardware development, human-machine interaction, and patient-centered design—is essential to advancing neurotechnology therapies. These devices should not only be innovative but also designed to work in tandem with patients, ensuring they are intuitive and truly address their needs.
